Google's new 'Verified Calls' feature - Tell the users Who is calling and Why ?

Google has rolled out a new feature 'Google Verified Calls' to save the users and businesses from spam and fraud calls. The feature, called as 'Verified Calls', will show a verified blue tick which means that the call has been verified and checked by Google, name of the person/business, logo of the business and most importantly the reason for calling will also be displayed.

According to a report, most of the frauds are done through spam and fraud calls and it is a high time now, this should be stopped. Through Google's new feature, calling will be more secure, safer and more purposeful. It will also help the businesses to build trust among the consumers.

However, the verified call system will work only for those businesses who have chosen to Sign-up with one of the Google partners and hence get their calls verified. It will be free for all consumers like you and me.
